Regional Foundation Announces Hire of Deb Bentzel as Sr. Program Officer

Philadelphia, PA – The Regional Foundation today announced the hiring of Deb Bentzel, as Senior Program Officer, charged with leading the organization’s grant investment program across its three-state, 62 county service area. 

 “We are thrilled to welcome Deb Bentzel to the organization, “stated Kevin Dow, Regional Foundation Executive Director.  “Deb brings a wealth of nonprofit leadership and on-the-ground community development experience to our team.  She’s an enterprise thinker who understands the value and importance of partnerships.” 

Bentzel joins the organization as it is relaunching its grant investments which are focused on community development, and particularly on support for the creation and implementation of comprehensive, resident-driven neighborhood revitalization efforts in low-income communities. Over 24 years the Foundation has developed a nationally recognized model of community development philanthropy and invested over $90 million dollars in over 100 organizations.

The Foundation currently has an endowment of over $100 million dollars and an active portfolio of over 35 nonprofit partners.
